Groundsman

Entry Level
$20 – $30 / hr Full-time · 40+ hrs/week Benefits after 90 days

No experience required — just a valid driver's license, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. We'll train the right person.

Responsibilities

  • Clear debris from trimming and removal jobs
  • Operate wood chippers
  • Run and maintain chainsaws of various sizes
  • Drive company vehicles to and from job sites
  • Maintain all equipment (chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts, vehicles)

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions
  • Competent and safe equipment operation
  • Highly motivated
  • Dependable

Preferred

  • CDL (not required)
  • Prior landscaping or tree care experience
  • Heavy equipment operation
  • Chainsaw proficiency

Tree Climber I

Beginner – Intermediate
$25 – $35 / hr Full-time · 40 hrs/week Benefits after 90 days

For climbers at any stage of their career. Lead foremen handle larger rigging operations until you are fully trained — we set you up to succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Trimming and removal of small trees
  • Clearing debris from job sites
  • Assisting lead foremen with rigging (as trained)
  • Receive training from lead foreman on larger rigging operations
  • Operating and maintaining chainsaws of all sizes
  • Driving company vehicles to and from job sites
  • Maintaining equipment (chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts, vehicles)

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license
  • Competent and safe chainsaw operation
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment
  • Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions
  • Highly motivated
  • Dependable

Preferred

  • CDL (not required)
  • Previous tree climbing experience

Tree Climber II

Advanced
$30 – $45 / hr Full-time · 40+ hrs/week Benefits after 90 days

Advanced climbers ready to lead. You'll run full trims, complete removals, and manage ground crews. ISA Certification is rewarded with higher pay.

Responsibilities

  • Perform full trims and complete removals
  • Lead and direct ground crew members
  • Rig and manage complex tree operations
  • Run chainsaws and operate all equipment
  • Drive company vehicles to and from job sites
  • Maintain all equipment (chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts, vehicles)

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license
  • 2+ years of tree climbing experience
  • Competent heavy equipment and chainsaw operation
  • Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions
  • Highly motivated
  • Dependable

Preferred

  • CDL (not required)
  • ISA Arborist Certification
  • TRAQ Certification
